Welcome to Jibhi Wood, a peaceful cottage stay located in Jibhi, Banjar Valley, Himachal Pradesh. These Terms & Conditions explain the rules and policies that apply to all guests staying at our property.
By confirming a booking, making a payment, or staying at our property, you agree to follow the terms mentioned below. These rules are created to ensure safety, comfort, and a smooth experience for every guest.
1. Booking & Reservation Policy
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of request. A reservation is considered confirmed only after:
You receive written confirmation from us (via WhatsApp, email, or call), and
Any required advance payment has been successfully received.
We request guests to provide accurate details such as full name, contact number, check-in date, check-out date, and number of guests. Providing incorrect information may result in cancellation or refusal at check-in.
The management reserves the right to cancel or decline a booking in case of incorrect details, non-payment, or suspicious activity.
2. Check-in & Check-out Policy
Standard check-in time is 12:00 PM, and check-out time is 12:00 PM.
Early check-in or late check-out depends strictly on room availability. If rooms are available, we may allow it with prior confirmation. Additional charges may apply.
Guests are requested to inform us in advance if they expect to arrive late at night so that necessary arrangements can be made.
If a guest fails to check out on time without prior approval, extra charges may be applied.
3. Identification & Guest Eligibility
For safety and legal compliance, all guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of check-in. Accepted IDs include:
Aadhaar Card
Passport
Driving License
Voter ID
The primary guest must be at least 18 years old.
Without valid ID proof, we reserve the full right to refuse accommodation without refund.
Only the number of guests mentioned at the time of booking are allowed to stay. Additional unregistered guests are not permitted without prior approval.
4. Payment Policy
Full or partial advance payment may be required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance (if any) must be paid at the time of check-in unless otherwise agreed.
We accept payments via UPI, bank transfer, or other agreed methods.
Failure to complete payment as per agreement may result in cancellation of the booking without notice.
5. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
If a guest cancels their booking, cancellation charges may apply based on the notice period given before check-in.
In case of a “No Show” (guest does not arrive on check-in date without informing us), the booking amount may be non-refundable.
Refund timelines (if applicable) depend on payment method and banking procedures.
We strongly recommend guests check road and weather conditions before traveling to Himachal Pradesh, as weather-related issues are common in mountain regions.
6. Property Rules & Guest Conduct
Jibhi Wood is located in a peaceful natural forest area. Guests are expected to:
Maintain silence after reasonable hours
Respect other guests’ privacy
Avoid loud music or parties
Not damage property items
Any damage caused to furniture, fixtures, appliances, linens, or property structure during your stay will be charged as per actual repair or replacement cost.
The management has the right to ask guests to leave without refund if they engage in illegal, unsafe, or disruptive behavior.
7. Smoking, Alcohol & Pets Policy
Smoking inside rooms is strictly prohibited. Guests may smoke only in open or designated outdoor areas. If smoking is detected inside the room, cleaning or penalty charges may apply.
Responsible alcohol consumption is allowed for personal use only. However, excessive drinking causing disturbance is strictly not permitted.
Pets are not allowed on the property unless specifically approved in advance.
8. Safety & Natural Surroundings Disclaimer
Our cottage is located near forests and the Tirthan River. While we maintain safety standards, guests must understand that mountain regions involve natural risks such as:
Slippery paths
Uneven terrain
Wildlife presence
Sudden weather changes
Guests are responsible for their own safety during their stay and while visiting nearby sightseeing places like Jalori Pass, Serolsar Lake, Chehni Kothi, or Great Himalayan National Park.
Jibhi Wood will not be responsible for:
Personal injuries
Loss of belongings
Accidents during treks or travel
Natural disasters or road blockages
All activities are undertaken at the guest’s own risk.
9. Personal Belongings & Liability
Guests are responsible for keeping their valuables safe. We recommend not leaving cash, jewelry, or important documents unattended.
Jibhi Wood will not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the stay.
10. Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Situations)
We are not responsible for cancellation, delay, or inconvenience caused due to events beyond our control, such as:
Heavy snowfall or landslides
Road closures
Government restrictions
Power failures
Natural disasters
In such cases, management decisions will be final.
11. Website & Information Accuracy
We try to provide accurate information, images, and descriptions of our property on our website. However, slight differences may occur due to seasonal changes, maintenance upgrades, or natural surroundings.
We reserve the right to update room features, pricing, or policies without prior notice.
12. Management Rights
The management of Jibhi Wood reserves the full right to:
Modify policies
Refuse service
Cancel bookings
Update pricing
Take necessary actions for safety and property protection
All decisions made by management in case of disputes will be considered final.
13. Agreement to Terms
By booking a stay at Jibhi Wood, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions mentioned above.
